Musicke in the Ayre's latest exploration of the early baroque repertoire for their team of three sopranos Maria Danishvar, Jane Hunt and Philippa Neaverson focuses on Rome.
Intimate solo songs by Landi contrast with theatrical trios by Rossi, with the ever innovation Kapsberger bridging the two styles with his lyrical aires and villanelle.
Din Ghani plays continuo on archlute and baroque guitar - both handcrafted by him.
