SWEMF Public Documents and Membership Information
SWEMF members should use the Members’ Area (password required) to access members-only information, and to renew their membership or update their details & preferences.
To renew an existing membership, please go to the Members’ Area.
New Membership Application – Essential information
All members’ personal details are held on a secure database, and will only be used by SWEMF for official communications. They will not be shared outside of SWEMF. We need your permission to store your personal details.
SWEMF’s primary means of communication with members is via email and the website. Please note that without your email address you will risk losing much of the benefit of membership. If you don’t wish to share your email address, please get in touch with the membership secretary.
The monthly SWEMF Newsletter is sent via email, and members may opt in or out of this.
SWEMF also maintains a membership website (link in the members area) through which members are able to locate and contact each other for the sole purpose of organising their own local musical events. Members are able to opt in or out of this service. If you opt in, you are confirming you are happy to have your contact details and musical interests to be seen by other SWEMF members. If you opt out, you will only be able to see your own details, not anyone else’s.
Members are able to update their own information and preferences online and are encouraged to do so. There are full details of how to do this in the Members’ Area of the website, but if you find it difficult, the membership secretary will do it for you on request.
It is very important to keep your email address up to date.
Members get reduced fees when attending SWEMF workshops and workshops run by other early music forums.
