Stunning music from the early French Baroque that would have been heard in the stylish salons of Paris, as well as the court and chapels of Louis XIV, the Sun King.
Accompanied by period plucked strings, our three soprano voices come together in varying combinations in sacred pieces by Charpentier and courtly entertainments by Lully, the King's favourite composer.
