Musicke in the Ayre return to Frome Festival with their take on music from the early Italian Baroque showcasing the voices of their 3-soprano team (Maria Danishvar-Wilson, Philippa Neaverson and Jane Hunt) accompanied by lutenist/luthier Din Ghani on archlute and baroque guitar. This year they focus on arias and cantatas by 17th-century Roman composers such as Carissimi, Rossi, Frescobaldi, Landi and Kapsberger.
