Join choral conductor Tom Williams for an exploration of the remarkable music of William Byrd. In this the 400th anniversary of the composer's death, we'll sing some of his best loved motets including the poignant and plaintive Ne Irascaris Domine and the contrastingly joyous Laudibus in sanctis. Byrd's music will be set in the context of masterpieces by his contemporaries, and particularly his great mentor Thomas Tallis.
