Our contribution to Byrd 400: a programme mainly of Byrd consort songs arranged for solo voice and lute, plus a piece by his mentor/business parter Thomas Tallis, a lute song by his pupil Thomas Morley. There's also lute solo arrangements of keyboard works by Byrd. Weather permitting, the performance will be in the magnificant Italian Cloister within the wonderful garden - it's included in the garden entry ticket.
