Julian Perkins talks about his preparations for putting on Handel's Tamerlano with Cambridge Handel Opera in Cambridge this April.
Julian Perkins is Artistic Director of Cambridge Handel Opera and Sounds Baroque. Shortlisted for the 2021 Gramophone Award, he performs regularly at the Salzburg Festival, Edinburgh International Festival and BBC Proms, has directed the Academy of Ancient Music and featured as soloist in concertos with the Royal Northern Sinfonia, Orchestra of the Age of Enlightenment, Florilegium and Orchestra of The Sixteen.
