Handel and Vivaldi at Tewkesbury Abbey
Cheltenham Bach Choir present two musical masters of the baroque period with some of their most popular works.
Handel’s Dixit Dominus - a masterpiece from the precocious twenty year old composer - will be performed alongside Antonio Vivaldi’s blissful Gloria to form a stunning programme to lift the spirits and inspire joy.
The programme will also include Handel's Zadok The Priest and The King Shall Rejoice.
The choir will be accompanied by the Regency Sinfonia and joined by two rising star soloists, Hannah Hughes and Siân Griffiths, in what promises to be an evening of highlights.
