Paragon Singers, directed by Sarah Latto, present a captivating concert celebrating the vibrant vocal music of the early Italian Baroque. This programme brings together the dramatic intensity of Claudio Monteverdi with the radiant, expressive works of Chiara Margarita Cozzolani - one of the period’s most remarkable and overlooked female composers. Cozzolani spent her adult life cloistered in the Santa Radegonda Convent in Milan, where she became well known for her purity of voice and exquisite writing.
