London-based Alysha Paterson joins up with Jane Hunt and Din Ghani in this new programme of songs and duets that explore the significance of the night to the heart and soul. It includes a wide range of repertoire, from the mainstream lute songs of Dowland, Campion and Jones to an operatic aria by Carissimi, plus airs serieux by Lambert and Le Camus, and even some Purcell and Handel. Refreshments available before and after the performance.
