RESCHEDULED FROM DECEMBER 7th THANKS TO STORM DARRAGH A concert of songs to the lute and guitar, framed in a seasonal context. Covers a wide variety of 16/17th century song and lute solos; the common thread is that each mentions at least one of the gifts referenced in the "The Twelve Days of Christmas". The composers involved include John Dowland, Thomas Campion, Orlando Gibbons, Thomas Morley, Thomas Ravenscroft, Loyset Compere and Jose Marin. Soprano Jane Hunt will be accompanied by Din Ghani on lute and baroque guitar.
