Singing History with Vivien Ellis
Chapel in the Garden, Bridport
Sadly we have had to cancel this workshop, as the current number of applications suggests that numbers are not going to be viable. Thanks to Maya Pieris for all the work she has put in to planning and promoting the workshop.
Join in a day of singing music from the Renaissance onwards, sacred and secular.
The morning workshop will concentrate on vocal music from the Renaissance to the 18th century, sacred and secular.
The afternoon will see Vivien leading the ‘singing history’ walk around Bridport in conjunction with Bridport Museum’s town guide Bruce Upton, the music to be learnt en route (printed music available for those who want it) and sung at various locations such as the recently refurbished Bridport Museum. Alternative arrangements will be made if the weather is wet.
