The day is for string players (violin, viola, ‘cello and bass viol), wind players (recorders, flute, oboe and bassoon), solo voice, and continuo (keyboard and plucked instruments). We will be playing chamber music in various combinations, mainly trio sonatas, quartets & quintets with continuo and we will try and include larger works when possible. Music will be provided, but please let us know of any piece you could bring and would want to play or sing. Pitch will be A=415.
The cost of the day is currently £10 for paid-up members of SWEMF & other forums and £12 for non-members. You will receive confirmation of your place after the close of bookings. If it has not been possible to fit you in you will be placed on a reserve list. For last minute problems please telephone Dick Little on 0117 9688549 before 8.00 on the day and 07867 577413 thereafter. It is not possible to turn up on the day without a confirmed place.
